Yesterday, we introduced you to one of Detroit's most expensive rental units, an Eastern Market penthouse that hoped to command $3950 a month in rent. Readers were a bit incredulous, despite the loft's amazing amenities (private terrace, luxurious bath with jetted tub, panoramic views of the city). Today, we heard from the Loft's real estate agent, and there's been a shift in price.
Jim Tumey of The Loft Warehouse got in touch to say that there's been a change. In an email, he told us that the price for the penthouse has dropped to a mere $3,650. We're not sure if that'll result in a rental, but it's definitely a start.
