Score Big at the Wayne County Tax Auction? Curbed Wants to Hear from You

New, 3 comments

Attention: Did you buy anything in the Wayne County tax auction? Know anyone who did? Curbed Detroit wants to hear all about it. Past auction scores have included the Jam Handy building, not to mention the infamous so-called "blight bundle." We'd like to feature residential and commercial properties won at this year's auction, along with plans the new owners have for these newly acquired pieces of Detroit.

Send tips to rebecca@curbed.com. If you want to stay anonymous, feel free to contact us through Curbed's tip email. If you bought any of the properties we've already covered from this year's auction, we'd especially like to hear from you.

The second round of the Wayne County tax auction continues this week. According to Michigan Radio, bidders have their choice of more than 26,000 properties that went unsold in the first round in September. The first round saw the sale of more than 2,000 foreclosed-on properties in greater Detroit.
