Quicken Loans and Home Depot's Rehabbed and Ready program has another house for sale, this one in Bagley. Visitors are welcome this week and early next at two open houses for the property, a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath in Bagley. The 1939 Tudor cottage, a red brick house with stone facing, has newly refinished hardwood floors, granite in the kitchen, a partly finished basement with half bath, a 1-car detached garage and a fireplace.

The home's full bath has particularly pretty original tile in yellow and black, although the Home Depot faux-old sink isn't doing it any favors. The kitchen is small and well-appointed, but many homeowners will want to upgrade the low-end appliances and add a dishwasher. Given that Home Depot sells those and is installing kitchens from the bones up, we wonder why they can't just do prospective buyers this favor, but the work and investment going into these properties is already huge. This house alone cost over $60K to remodel, making the $66.9K ask price more or less a break even figure.
