Arrowhead-Shaped Tudor Gets Cheaper After Failing to Flip

New, 16 comments

After 7 months on the market, this intriguing house/attempted flip in the University District continues to deflate. Originally listed at $210K,the price slid down to $199K before today's dive to $179K. Even the photography and staging has grown decidedly gloomier. Built in 1920, the house's unique outward appearance contrasts with a sparkling but potentially forgettable interior, which some commenters thought was too "Home Depot."

With four bedrooms and 2,750 square feet, the house is a healthy size and the location is right. How far will the price fall before the flip succeeds? Records show the seller paid $42K for the house in January 2014. Check out our September post for a more cheerful set of photos.
