Detroit Animal Care Campus Construction Leaps Forward

The Michigan Humane Society is pushing through freezing temps to build a new $15.5M Detroit Animal Care Campus in the North End. Exactly 4 months after the official groundbreaking ceremony, the construction site has already installed much of the underground plumbing and built several major walls. The current MHS facility in Detroit is an overcrowded 115-year-old factory just down the road, so the project's 2016 ETA can't come soon enough.
