As of 4pm Monday, the City of Detroit reports that plows have reached just 25% of Detroit's 1,884 miles of residential side streets, adding that crews working overnight should have a 10-foot-wide path cleared in every street by early Tuesday morning. With a total of 16.7 inches of accumulation reported at Detroit Metro Airport, the recent snowstorm was the largest to hit the Detroit area since 1974. [City of Detroit; Local 4]
