Look! Michigan Central Station is more electrified than it has been in a long time, with 40+ window holes looking merry and bright. We're not sure when the illumination first began (or if it's still going), but this was the scene Saturday night. Thus, you'll find our new Michigan Central Station Blite-Brite Window Watcher updated accordingly.
After years of struggling to point out the exact location of the station's window shenanigans, it dawned on us that Hasbro's old Lite-Brite would serve as an elegant means of clarifying.
So, what's it all mean? Last year, Moroun promised to invest $80M into his old train station. He even pulled permits to install a new elevator, with a goal of getting the station water-tight within three years. Perhaps all these lightbulbs represent the first $35 spent.
(Feel free to make your own blight-themed Lite-Brite on Hasbro's website and send it our way. It's addictive.)
