Say goodbye to RadioShack, Detroit. The bankrupt electronics retailer just announced plans to shutter 1,784 stores, reports CBS, including the only two listed locations in Detroit. The doomed stores are located at Gateway Marketplace (the Meijer development) and Midtown's Studio One apartment building, which already lost Biggby Coffee in November. In total, 25 stores in the Metro Detroit area should go dark within the next few weeks.
