115-Year-Old Corktown Cottage Awaits a Heroic Buyer

New, 13 comments

It's sad to see one of Corktown's bite-sized historic homes in such distress, but we're holding out hope that 1352 Labrosse finds a buyer capable of bringing her back. Listed for a steep $120K, the three-bedroom, one-bathroom house was reportedly built in 1900.
Saggy, water-damaged, and surprisingly colorful, the interior pretty much promises that a rehab would essentially mean rebuilding the house, preferably with a more discreet spot for the water heater. Similar Corktown gems have rebounded from worse situations, but it's still a tall order with a tall asking price.
