Bike Repair Stations Appear Along Eastern RiverWalk

New, 4 comments

The Detroit RiverWalk just became a bit more cyclist-friendly. The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy recently installed a trio of new bike repair stations along the east RiverWalk, one each in front of Gabriel Richard Park, Rivard Plaza and Mt. Elliott Park. They're similar to the stations planned in Midtown, providing tools and an air pump so cyclists can make basic repairs on the go. Another station is expected soon in the Dequindre Cut, where work is underway to finish the northern extension sometime this summer.
