Look who's back! Listed at $599K, the Dutch Colonial palace of Palmer Woods is back on the market after a six month hiatus. It's expensive, but still a far cry from the prices we saw last summer. With six bedrooms and over 6,200 square feet, the house was built in 1921 as a model house for the young subdivision of Palmer Woods. Despite its luxurious front porch, grand staircase and backyard greenhouse, buyers said 'thanks, but no thanks' to the Dutch Colonial architecture in favor of the trendier tudors that fill the neighborhood today. A century later, there's no blaming the hipster tudors for its inability to find a buyer. The ask is simply too high.
