On Woodward Avenue a couple blocks north of Boston-Edison, this limestone beauty from the 1920s needs some help. A former chop suey restaurant is to blame for the the ugly exterior paint scheme (and a window sign advertising fried shrimp), but there's no explaining the state of the 4,800-square-foot interior. There's some cool old office space upstairs and evidence of a stalled remod throughout, but it looks like the building could accommodate just about anything, roof deck included. The $650K ask is crazy to the point of being irrelevant, and the realtor's failed attempt at location hype ("halfway between New Center and the coming Galapagos") hints it'll end up selling for less.
