Good bones and a short walk to vegan takeout in the West Village. Photos courtesy of Hawkins Realty via Century 21.
While it might not seem like it, a lot of the work has already been done in this West Village fixer-upper. A new roof, new furnaces, new insulation, a back deck, upgraded electrical, and "some replacement windows" provide a decent head start on the 2,442-square-foot project. Enterprising homebuyers can take relief diving into the remaining upgrades knowing that when break time comes nigh, the neighborhood's fancy grocery stores and a glut of hipster-approved eats (vegan, tea, pie) are a short walk away.—Leslie Youngblood
