Blocks from rumbling Red Wings arena construction lies a 3,485-square-foot parcel prime for future development. It's no screamin' deal, though: The owner's listed the parcel, located on Park between Temple and Charlotte Streets, for $2.3 million.
Revamping the property, which is "suitable for national corporation/bar, restaurant, bank, mixed use," will require removing the boarded-up, circa-1890 brick structure that still currently stands on the lot. We have some ideas on where someone might be able to borrow a bulldozer.—Leslie Youngblood
