$425k Scores a Kahn-Designed Gem in Indian Village

New, 8 comments

Albert Kahn will be forever linked with the sprawling factories or stately buildings he designed, but the "architect of Detroit" also cranked out some cool residential designs. One such treasure recently crashed onto the market in Indian Village, where $424,900 gets you five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a spacious 3,935 square feet awash in historic detail. Built in 1905, the house was partially rehabbed over the last few years (you couldn't even see it in 2013), meaning the utilities have "professionally addressed." We'll let the photos do the talking from here on, but don't miss the rehabbed sun porch.
