Detroiters bid a sad farewell to the historic Hotel Park Avenue Saturday morning. The 91-year-old structure, at first a grand hotel, then a senior living center, then a rehab facility, swayed then toppled almost gracefully, claimed by 200 pounds of TNT and the Detroit Red Wings' need for its lot to build a loading dock for their new arena.
