Following in Jack White's house-proud footsteps, Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland and his fiancée, Carré Callaway of Queen Kwong fame, are moving to the D—into an Arden Park mansion the pair plans to renovate for a show on DIY Network. Given the enormous success of Nicole Curtis' Detroit projects for her HGTV show, The Rehab Addict, including her current work at the Ransom Gillis house, Borland and Callaway have done a nice job of putting themselves in the right place at the right time.
The pair's various social media accounts—and that of their friend and traveling companion, Australian photographer Hayden Scott—tell a sepia-tinged Instagram-tastic tale of how the couple spent their summer in Detroit, touring the Packard Plant, watching the Hotel Park Avenue implode, playing in area clubs and acquiring choice real estate. The duo has a great eye for Detroit architecture, so let's hope the apply in in rehabbing their newly purchased 1923 Indiana limestone mansion.
