This 1924 Italianate apartment building (which the realtor calls "art deco") has 6 newly remodeled units, all tricked out in style with dishwashers, fireplaces, restored hardwoods, and terrazzo baths. It has space framed in for a basement workout room, plus another two units waiting for the new owners' loving touch (and their new money). Last month, the price approached the $400K mark, and Curbed readers crunched those numbers, scoffed intensely, and debated the pros and cons of landlord life in a building (just barely) in New Center.
The interiors look on point (assuming all the units are as nice as the one in listing pix). The floors shine, Moroccan tile gives the kitchens a quirky, youthful vibe, and with three bedrooms and 1.5 baths in six of the units, the income potential seems pretty solid. Well, solid when the price moves from $398K to $299.9K.
