In a lovely new video produced by Little Big World, Detroit's famously ramshackle built environment is filmed, dreamlike, from above, with a tilt-shift camera that lends each scene a miniaturized feel. There's a welcome near-reverence of the city here—not typically found in Detroit "ruin porn"—as the camera soars over disused industrial buildings and into dilapidated grand old theaters.
