The fifth annual Detroit Design Festival takes place Sept 22-26. Today, the event's organizers, the Detroit Creative Corridor Center announced the festival lineup, and it promises to be an action-packed week highlighting design in the Motor City and the region.
Some of the highlights include a design village sponsored by Dwell Magazine, pop ups by dozens of designers and artists and Eastern Market After Dark, which bills itself as "a rare and exclusive behind-the-scenes peek into the studios, workshops and galleries and more that make up the diverse collective of Detroit businesses and creative hubs." If you can't wait for September 22nd, there'll be a kickoff party for DDF at St Vincent in Corktown next Thursday, Sept 17.
