The new Legoland Discovery Center in Great Lakes Crossing will feature ten metro Detroit landmarks (as voted by their Facebook followers). This week at the North American International Auto Show, they revealed the top voted and arguably most familiar: the GM Renaissance Center. It consists of 50,172 Lego bricks and took 296 hours to build.
The other landmarks to come are: Belle Isle, Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, Guardian Building, Michigan Central Station, Motown Museum, Spirit of Detroit, The Heidelberg Project, and Uniroyal Tire.
