If you’ve been in West Village anytime in the past six months, you know the West Village Manor building on the corner of Agnes and Van Dyke has been under construction. A few rental units were available (and taken) earlier in August, and now ten more are ready. The retail spaces are still under construction, but we have some pictures of the residential units and an opportunity to see them for yourself.
Banyan Investments have led the work on the renovation of the 1926 building. The apartments are located above the soon-to-be completed retail spaces, plus Detroit Vegan Soul and Red Hook. It’s also on the other side of the block from the Coe Development, which will break ground for new residences soon.
One bedrooms are starting at $1,300/month and two bedrooms are starting at $1,650/month, which is on par with some downtown prices. These apartments have granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, heated bathroom floors, all new furnace and A/C, and refinished original hardwood floors. They also have in-unit washer/dryers. Rent includes parking and a video intercom system. Here’s a look around.
Want to see them for yourself? The Loft Warehouse is holding an open house on Thursday, November 3, with raffle prizes from West Village businesses.
