Brush Park property sells at auction for $1.4M to Brooklyn developer

The sale was finalized last week.

A big sale was announced in Brush Park last week for four parcels of land equaling a half acre. The sale, which went through Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, is referred to as the Brush Park Lofts re-development opportunity at 435 Division Street and 2711, 2717 & 2725 Beaubien Street. According to the release, “The seller, JPJ Development, LLC, sold the property at auction through Ten-X.com to the Brooklyn-based development firm, Astral Weeks Development.” The final price came to $1,425,000.

Astral Weeks Development has redeveloped many properties in and around Brooklyn, and this looks to be their first in Detroit.

These properties are a block over from the largest development project in Brush Park, Bedrock’s City Modern, where tipsters have told us that the construction site is getting ready for work.

The structures on the properties, near the corner of Division and Beaubien, were constructed in approximately 1909 and 1919 and total about 29,000 square feet. Might we see a loft conversion and new build in the near future?
