Renovated Boston Edison Colonial Lists for $240K

New, 17 comments

This newly renovated three-bedroom 1920 house in Boston Edison is certainly move-in ready. It has refinished floors, new fixtures and tiling, and fresh paint everywhere. It's also missing out on some of the charm we'd like to see in these older homes. But if you're a fan of white painted trim, this is your kind of house. This 2,200-square-foot house does have interesting archways connecting some of its downstairs rooms. You can also see signs of leaded glass downstairs. An addition was built onto the house at some point, leaving the family room with a bright brick wall. All of the rooms have been painted in fairly neutral colors. The kitchen is designed in black and white, with stainless steel appliances and an extra area with counter space outside the main kitchen.

This property also has a two-car garage and decent sized yard, as well as a new roof and security system. The $240,000 asking price may be aiming a little high, but the new owner wouldn't really have to do much to make this house a home.
