First Look at Trumbull & Porter

Last spring, we reported that the Corktown Inn was undergoing a necessary remodel and upgrade and now we have the pictures. If you've driven past the hotel lately, you'll notice a new look.

The new hotel will have a soft opening in April, with a grand opening soon to follow. The full-service Red Dunn restaurant and Burroughs Lounge will also open this summer.

The hotel has 144 rooms, a fitness center, meeting rooms, secure parking, and outdoor space. According to their website , the $9 million remodel was done with nearly all the work and materials sourced from Detroit.

The remodel was designed by Patrick Thompson Design. The large mural was done by Don Kilpatrick.
