Curbed Comparisons: What $1,250 Will Rent You In Detroit

From Rosedale Park to the Riverfront to New Center, here's what $1,250 can get you in Detroit

Welcome to this week's installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. We're looking at rentals within $50 of today's price: $1,250.

Coming in first at $1,300 is a four bedroom, two and a half bath 1,700-square-foot house in Rosedale Park. It's been recently remodeled and also has a garage and basement. And hopefully more appliances somewhere?

Next up, also for $1,300 is a three bedroom, three bath house in Morningside. This 1,800-square-foot house has also been recently remodeled and has a finished basement and lots of storage.

For $1,250 you can live on the 16th floor along the Riverfront. You can see some of the river, but you can also see the high rises next to you. This two bedroom, one bathroom condo does have a gated entrance with security, and access to a pretty sweet rooftop deck.

Also for $1,250, you can get an 800-square-foot condo in New Center. This two bedroom, one bathroom condo has fairly small rooms, a unique fireplace, and parking on the street and behind the building.

In Midtown you can get a 630-square-foot studio for $1,230. Located on Woodward near Wayne State, you'll be along the QLINE and close to museums and restaurants.
