We featured this gorgeous 100-year-old home a couple years ago when it was last for sale. It sold for $460,000 then and now it's back on the market (with much better pictures) for $525,000.
This 5,500-square-foot, seven bedroom, five bath home was designed by Oscar C. Gottesleben for John Kay, founder of Wright Kay & Co. Jewelers, whose former jewelry store is now Wright & Co. restaurant. The home has hardwood floors throughout, central air, a newer roof, upgraded plumbing and electrical, and some of the prettiest tile we've seen in the kitchen and bathrooms.Seriously, this tile!
There's also fresh paint throughout, an original wood library, butler's pantry, and servant's quarters on the third floor. The house has new high-end landscape lighting and the back in general looks a lot better than the last time around. We should have the full listing linked later today. Have a look!
