Welcome to this week's installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. This week, we've lost our damn minds and we're looking at rentals within $100 of today's price: $2,000. Gather up all your friends to chip in - here are the nicest spaces we found.
First we'll start with this four bedroom, two bath 1,650-square-foot apartment in the Art Center. It's a newly renovated place with a nice kitchen and bathrooms. Tenants have access to a backyard, porch, gazebo, and garage. It'll run you $2,100/month. No pets allowed :(
Next is this pretty four bedroom, 2,500-square-foot unit in West Village. It has two bathrooms, a private basement with full size laundry, shared backyard space, and two-car gated parking. It's walkable to all the West Village shops and restaurants. It's listed for $2,100/month.
If you can wait until July, you can get a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment on the 28th floor at the Renaissance City Apartments. This place has a sweet rooftop deck, fitness room, and pool and you're right downtown. It's $1,900/month.
There's also a two-bedroom, two-bath 900-square-foot second floor apartment in Woodbridge. This one has newer floors and a peculiar circular archway. It's listed for $2000/month.
And in Techtown, we found a 1,288-square-foot three-bedroom apartment in the Lofts at New Amsterdam. This one is $2,000/month and it's pet-friendly!
