We know that a great, move-in ready renovated home in Detroit doesn't last long. But there are a few on the market that are worth noting (some have just listed). As we scour the listings for good renovations, we see some huge projects, nice condos, and one that's a little out of our league. Warning: You will see some white paint.
First up is a house new to the market on Virginia Park. This 3,100-square-foot house is in a great location, it has nice hardwood floors, some (a lot) of white paint, and an awkward small kitchen. But it also has gorgeous sun rooms, a finished third floor, and a nice front porch. It's listing for $279,900.
Next up is a cute little house in the Fitzgerald/Marygrove neighborhood. It's 1,666 square feet, three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, with some carpeting in the bedrooms. It's move-in ready and listed for $74,900.
Moving over to the RiverFront, this 2,500-square-foot condo has a sauna, wine storage, nice closets in the condo, and a valet for the building. It'll run you $195,000 (no HOA fees listed).
We featured this Park Shelton condo in March, and it's still sitting there, waiting for its new owner. It's 1,600 square feet, completely redone, and listed for $399,000, with $856/month in HOA fees.
We've featured this Boston Edison remodel a few times, and it's been remodeled since its first mention. This 1922 Tudor is 4,480 square feet with new upgrades, but we're curious if something might be wrong with it somewhere. It's now listed for $294,900.
And it you're all in on a full, beautiful restoration, then this Brush Park Victorian is the one for you. With ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms, this is an opportunity to open your own bed & breakfast in the city. It's asking for $2.5M.
