There’s only one year to go for the Little Caesars Arena to open for the 2017 hockey season. Until then, check out how much progress has been made so far on the Detroit stadium.

Crain’s Detroit Business recently reported that the structural steel for the retail and office buildings have begun to rise. Additionally, the concrete support piers are already complete for the four-story buildings that will face Woodward Avenue and Henry Street. Crain’s Detroit Business further reported that construction so far has remained on schedule. Once complete, the $627.5 million project will seat over 20,000 people.

Below, take a look at how much progress has been made so far with photos from The District Detroit.
