The fireworks might be over, but we’ve still got a long holiday weekend to look forward to. If you’re not heading up north and want to book a getaway in the city, or if you don’t have room for visiting friends or family, here are some airbnb options for you. We only chose highly-rated options, because we care. These rentals range from $149 to $70 per night.
↑ This downtown condo is walking distance to everything downtown (too bad the Tigers aren’t in town this weekend). But it’s a good option if you want to walk everywhere and sight see. It also has a pool table and outdoor patio. It’s a pricier option though, at $149 (plus fees) per night.
↑ This Corktown home was set up as a bed and breakfast once, so you’ll have your own private room and bathroom with access to the living areas. It’s big and bright and close to the shops and restaurants in that charming neighborhood. The Fire Room is available for $135 (plus fees) per night.
↑Hold up. You can stay in the Motown Mansion? For $125 (plus fees) per night, you can stay in the estate where Berry Gordy briefly lived and imagine the stories in these walls. If you decide you really, really love it and want to own it, it’s for sale for $1.6 million.
↑Or you could stay a little further away in the University District. This pretty house is $86 per night plus fees. Since it’s a ways to downtown (but close to Fernadale), you should probably have your own vehicle.
↑You could also stay in this Woodbridge home, which has 96 reviews and nearly 5 stars all around. It’s a great neighborhood to walk around and you’re fairly close to downtown and midtown. It’s $70 per night, plus fees. And you can hang out with a dog.
