Classic Boston Edison Home Hits the Market for $270K

Could use some work

This 4,500-square-foot Georgian Revival home has beautiful details throughout, including crown moulding, fantastic built-ins and storage, a big fireplace, french doors, big bay windows, and nice hardwood floors. Unfortunately, at least from the pictures, it all just looks old. Maybe a new owner can freshen it up a bit! It's listing for $269,900.

We've seen another gorgeous Boston Edison home hit the market this week for $289,000. That one is roughly the same size but needs far less work. Built in 1918, this six-bedroom, four bathroom Boston Boulevard house, while having all those nice details listed earlier, also has a lot of wallpaper, some water damage, and a super creepy basement. There's also some carpeting in rooms, which isn't everyone's favorite. It's located near the Lodge.

We've talked about pictures in listings before, right? Good ones help. Just saying!
