Stunning Boston Edison Remodel Attempts Big Price Jump, Asks $350K

New, 5 comments

Third floor suite and air conditioning!

First, this is a really beautiful house. They did a lot of things right with this remodel. But this is a pretty massive jump in price. Last sold in April 2015 for $62,799, this 3,200-square-foot Boston Edison beauty is now listing for $349,900.

This house, built in 1919, has five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and a pretty sweet kitchen. We often see small, narrow kitchens in these old houses, but this one is a little more open and includes a seating area for a breakfast nook.

The third floor is finished as a suite with a walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The house has new electrical, plumbing, furnace, air conditioning (!), and windows. The bathrooms include a big claw foot tub and a custom shower. There’s all sorts of charm and nooks and crannies to be found throughout the house. It’s located on Longfellow between Rosa Parks and 14th Street. It’s certainly a big jump in price, but there have been a lot of good renovations in the neighborhood lately. Have a look.

Update! We now have before pics here!
