We usually feature homes in the neighborhoods around the Detroit Golf Club - Palmer Woods, Sherwood Forest, the University District. But we rarely feature homes inside this community. Today we have a 4,500-square-foot, 90-year-old home that looks pretty fancy and is listing for $485,000.
To be fair, it also looks fairly old and like it could use some updating. We don’t have any pictures of the kitchen, but the listing has many pictures of the bath and shower (odd). The house has five bedrooms, three and a half baths, and sits on nearly a half acre, so it has a giant yard. It also has private in-law quarters and a big master suite. It sits adjacent to the Detroit Golf Club, just a few lots up from McNichols. This house has been on and off the market since last fall. Will it find its new owners soon?
