Welcome to Friday Open Threads, wherein we'll pass the mic to readers to speak up about topics of interest, distress, horror, etc. Have something you want discussed? Let us know. This week’s topic: Detroit’s best parks.
It’s been a hot one this week, friends. And while many flock to the A/C, just as many look to get outside and enjoy the heat. So we want to know this week: What’s your favorite park in Detroit?
Is it the tried and true Belle Isle, where so many go but you can always find a place to be alone? Or do you prefer Palmer Park and dream of the grand old days of Detroit’s past? Perhaps you like to spend time among the mosaic murals over in Stoepel Park? Or the expansive Rouge Park? Maybe the beach at Campus Martius?
Where do you like to spend time outside in Detroit? Let us know in the comments.
