Sold! Indian Village Mansion Finds New Owner

New, 2 comments

7,300+ square feet!

We went a little overboard in featuring this Indian Village house when it was on the market last year. But the house really is something special. This 7,300+ square-foot mansion, which turns 100 next year, has a backyard that goes all the way to Seminole. It was designed by Leonard B. Willeke for Josephine Clay, who was the sister of Edsel Ford's wife, Eleanor. It was on and off the market for a while, listing for $744,500, and recently sold for $660,000.

The new owners are moved in and when we chatted with them, were working on cooling the large home (aren’t well all in this heat wave). Here’s one last look inside this impressive home.
