A Curbed tipster sent us a note the other day about this two-story building on East Larned in Bricktown that wasn’t there anymore. We drove past the property yesterday to see that this building and the small one next door were gone.
There’s a thread started at Detroit Yes trying to put the pieces together about this cool storefront that’s gone. It looks like demo permits were issued this spring. It looks, at least from the outside, that there could have been potential for a restaurant or entertainment venue. So many big developments are on the way; it’s a shame to lose cool buildings like this that give a street character.
