Back in July, we featured this University District home that was like no house we’d ever seen. The brickwork on the outside was quite distinctive, and had some detractors, but certainly made the house stand out. The interior was not what we thought we’d see, but was a cohesive design in a well-maintained house. It listed for $354,000 at the end of July and just sold for $300,000.
The archways you see on the outside are in front of a screened-in porch off the master bedroom. The house is full of lovely tiling, unique archways, beautiful doorways, and interesting design choices.

In the basement, there’s an amazing bar area. Outside, there’s a lovely deck surrounded by lush greenery.

There have been quite a few houses in this neighborhood listing in the high $200s and into the $300K range lately. There are many still sitting on the market. This one was a standout among the rest, we think. Here’s one last look.
