Woodward Village fixer upper with potential asks $55K

New, 4 comments

Just a couple streets north of the grand mansions in Boston Edison is Woodward Village, which has beautiful old houses, many that need substantial work. This house on Calvert is one of those. We think it could be restored, and hopefully other homes in that area will be, too. This house is listing at $55,000.

It’s almost 1,500 square feet, with three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a big front porch. You can get an idea of some of the cosmetic work it needs inside. It also needs HVAC, plumbing, and some electrical. The new owner would have some work to do to make it move-in or mortgage ready. It is right off of Woodward, and has some nice woodwork in it. What do you think, Curbed readers?
