We chose $1,650 as this week’s price point because it’s at the lower end of what you can get in the newly reopened Plaza. It’s located on Woodward, with quick access to Whole Foods, Starbucks, and the QLINE. The views are amazing. The apartments have laundry in unit, and cats and dogs are welcome. A dog park next door is in the works. Zillow lists a one-bedroom available at $1,700.
636 E Ferry Street 1w
A little further up Woodward, this two-bedroom apartment is available on Ferry Street. This bright apartment is located near the Detroit Institute of Arts, Wayne State University, and the QLINE. It’s renting for $1,650 per month.
312 Hendrie Street
A few more streets up, this three bedroom apartment is available on Hendrie Street. This rental has architectural charm and a covered porch. There’s also a shared basement with a pool table. It’s listing for $1,650 per month.
In West Village, a two-bedroom apartment in West Village Manor is available. These apartments were finished last year, and they’re close to Belle Isle, the Riverfront, and the shops and restaurants in West Village. A two-bedroom is available for $1,650 per month.
In Harbortown, this two bedroom, two bath apartment has floor to ceiling windows in its living space and it’s right near the river. Harbortown has swimming pools and jogging trails, plus quick access to the Riverwalk. It’s listed for $1,700 per month.
