The last couple months have been a busy time for big sales in Detroit. While we’ve featured a couple big sales—one in Boston-Edison and another in Midtown—plenty of other notable properties have recently closed. Is there one you’re keeping an eye on? Let us know in the comments or drop us a note on the tip line.

This one-time home of Soupy Sales must have hit a nostalgia nerve; it was one of our most-read articles in August. The house was in good condition and roomy at 4,500 square feet. It’s really a nice house in a great neighborhood. It listed for $499,900 and just sold for $480,000.

This knockout Indian Village home got rave reviews from our readers; one commenter said it was the best interior we’ve recently seen in the neighborhood. It’s a big house too at nearly 6,000 square feet. Readers thought the price was fair for this one. It listed for $698,000 and just sold for $665,000.

Also in Indian Village, this handsome home on Iroquois has an elegant interior, an updated kitchen, and a carriage house. Readers generally agreed that it was a beauty, although one who toured it was disappointed in the overall condition. It listed for $599,995 in June and realtor Joy Santiago tells us it just sold for $641,000.

This nice looking Art Center townhouse has its own elevator. Readers were pretty impressed with the space, which has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, and an open living area. It’s move-in ready in a great part of town, which comes at a price. It listed for $449,000 and sold for $430,000.

We’re starting to see a lot of properties listing and selling out in the North End. This large two-family home still needed a lot of work, but it could be the right income property for the right person. It listed for $165,000 and sold for $125,000.
