One of our favorite events in Detroit may have passed, but we’re still glowing from the gorgeous light displays of Dlectricity. From the Whitney to the Park Shelton, Midtown was lit at the end of September with incredible installations covering the Detroit Institute of Arts, the main branch of the Detroit Public Library, and giant bunnies at the green space in by the College for Creative Studies. DJs livened up the corner of Woodward and Warren with an array of lights behind them, while Cathedral Church of St. Paul had an artist creating designs through projections on the side of the building.
And of course, the streets were full of fancy cars and the light bike parade.
Photographers Michelle and Chris Gerard were on hand to capture the electric evening, from the House of Fog to the bright lights of the Mobile Homestead at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. Enjoy!
