How much should Detroit home buyers pay for convenience? The Park Shelton is located right across the street from the Detroit Institute of Arts, near Wayne State, and it has a Qline stop right in front of it. It’s close to both restaurants and shops in Midtown (with some right in the building) and New Center. It’s a beautiful, elegant old building. This new listing is on the second floor, so it doesn’t have quite the views as the others (although you can go out on the rooftop for that). The living room overlooks Woodward and the DIA. The price? $385,000.

The corner condo is 1,600 square feet, with two bedrooms, two baths, and an updated kitchen. Perks include hardwood floors, in-unit laundry, A/C, a fitness center, and a storage unit. HOA fees run $843 a month. It’s listed through Kevin Hill at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services | The Loft Warehouse.
