One area of Detroit where we’ve seen prices rising this year is Southwest Detroit, specifically Hubbard Farms. Grand homes line the streets over here, many in varying conditions. We’ve seen multi-family homes, duplexes, and many single-family homes come up for sale this year; most have sold in the mid-$200K range. This new listing includes charming old details and some newer updates. It’s going for $297,900.

This house has four bedrooms, one full and one half bath, beautiful hardwood floors, a butler’s pantry, and a plate warmer in the dining room. Yes, we had to look at that one a few times.

Unique details include original doorknobs and fixtures, a chandelier in the front entryway, a formal fireplace in the living room, columns in the front rooms, and modern lighting fixtures in the living areas and kitchen. It’s located on West Grand Boulevard between West Vernor and I-75. It’s listed through O’Connor Real Estate.
