Earlier this year, we saw a house sell in Boston-Edison on the west side of the Lodge for $340K, which was the highest any house had sold for in years in that area. Since then, we’ve seen many houses renovated and listed for sale, many around that price (and higher). We’ve also seen another stunning house sell for $360K. Other renovated homes on this side of the Lodge have sold for $100-115 per square foot, while this one is aiming for $127. This latest listing is freshly updated, move-in ready, and listing for $399,999.

This four-bedroom brick home has hardwood floors throughout, an open and updated kitchen, three full and one half baths, and a finished basement. The listing states it has a new roof, plumbing, driveway, and furnace. It may not be the most inspired renovation we’ve seen, but it’s a solid house in a great historic neighborhood.
