Office building with views of the Fisher Building lists for $775K

Provided by Dan Gutfreund, Signature Sotheby's International Realty

Many have been talking about the need for more office space in the city lately, so we’re on the lookout for interesting properties where businesses can set up. Case in point, here’s an office building on Holden Street right next to the Fourth Street neighborhood. Located near Tech Town and Wayne State with views of the Fisher Building, the property is listing for $775,000.

STEM had been using the building for years, but a shift in their organization has prompted them to move to smaller headquarters. When they first opened in 2001, they worked with mainly schools in the area. In recent years, they’ve worked with a more global audience online, reaching out to more students.

Since last year, they’ve shared the building with Reclaim Detroit, who faced a devastating fire to their warehouse. They’ve been rebuilding and will move to a new facility soon. Architectural renderings are included with the sale, if the new owner chooses to renovate the property.

The building itself is an interesting W shape, with 7,121 square feet and plenty of parking space. There are two large common spaces, four (or more) private offices, a commercial kitchen, and new plumbing and electrical. It also has Rocket Fiber internet. Could this be the right space for the right business?
