Handsome University District home seeks $220K

New, 2 comments

We’ve seen some pretty crazy prices in the University District lately and comparatively, this one seems like a bargain. At 2,232 square feet, this house is coming in at a reasonable $99 per square foot. It seems fairly move-in ready, but it has been owned by the same family for quite some time. It’s listing for $219,900.

The house has four bedrooms, one full and two half baths, and a partially finished basement. It’s full of little nooks and intricate details to appreciate. The living room has a cute fireplace, and a nearby library has built-in bookshelves. The kitchen is older but roomy, and the house has a big backyard. The listing says the house was once owned by Mayor Cobo. Considering many houses are going for well over $300K around here, seems like a reasonable price in a great neighborhood. Let us know what you think about this one, Curbed readers.
