Welcome to this week's installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. This week we’re looking at rentals within $100 of today's price: $800.

↑ Our first rental takes us to West Village for this one bedroom, one bath apartment on Van Dyke Street. The kitchen is open with custom-built cabinets and new appliances. Cats are allowed and water and heat are included with rent. It’s located near the shops on Agnes and it’s renting for $850 per month.

↑ This Riverdale bungalow is located near Old Redford and the Meijer off Grand River. It has an interesting kitchen, a big front porch, built-ins, and a big backyard. It has three bedrooms and one bath and it’s listing for $750 per month.

↑ The newly renovated Town Residences (more here)have studios and one bedrooms starting at $725 per month. They’re located on the west side of downtown, and they have a laundry center and new fitness center.

↑ Here’s a newly renovated two-bedroom apartment available in Hubbard Farms. No pets are allowed, but the apartment has hardwood floors and it’s spacious at 1,200 square feet. It’s renting for $900 a month and located near Clark Park and the restaurants in Mexicantown.

↑ This Hamtramck bungalow will be available in June. It has a sweet backyard, the tiniest kitchen, a washer and dryer, and loads of charm. It has two bedrooms and it’s listing for $700 per month.
