What $1,300 rents you in Detroit right now

Welcome to this week's installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. This week we’re looking at rentals within $100 of today’s price: $1,300.

↑ First up is this very black and white apartment in the North End. It’s newly renovated (clearly), with three bedrooms, one bathroom, and 1,500 square feet. There’s also a second floor balcony and a shared back porch. Warm it up for $1,350 a month.

↑ For $1,300 a month, there’s a two bedroom, one bath, 753-square-foot apartment available in the Fourth Street neighborhood. It’s been recently renovated, with a new kitchen and bath, plus nice hardwood floors. It’s located near Wayne State, Midtown, and New Center.

↑ In Midtown, there’s a two bedroom, two bath available. Have your own library of books? There’s room for them here! It’s located on 2nd and Willis, near shops, restaurants, Wayne State, and the QLINE. It’s renting for $1,300 a month.

↑ In Bagley, there’s a six bedroom home that’s available for $1,200 a month, with a rent-to-own option. The house has a new kitchen, a lot of carpet, and plenty of built-ins and character. It’s located near Marygrove College.

↑ And in West Village, here’s a two bedroom, one bath flat available on Saint Paul Street. It’s also recently renovated with a new kitchen and laminate flooring. It’s located within walking distance of many nearby shops and restaurants, and biking distance to Belle Isle. It’s listing for $1,350 a month.
