Detroit rent comparisons: What $750 can rent you right now

Welcome to this week's installment of Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various Detroit neighborhoods. This week we’re looking at rentals within $100 of today’s price: $750.

↑ This week, we’re starting in Palmer Park, where an apartment at 980 Whitmore will run you $650 per month for a one bedroom, 925-square-foot flat. Rent includes heat and water and they’re located near Ferndale, the Avenue of Fashion, and they’re right at Palmer Park.

↑ For $750 per month, here’s a one-bedroom apartment available in Midtown. This apartment has A/C and hardwood floors and pets are allowed. It’s located right next to Wayne State and it’s close to a QLINE station. It’s also within walking distance from shops, restaurants, and museums.

↑ Heading over to the East side, there’s a one-bedroom apartment available in Indian Village. This unit has a tiny kitchen, hardwood floors, and it’s located near the Riverfront, Belle Isle, and restaurants. Rent includes gas, water, and a gated parking spot and it rents for $850 per month.

↑ A few streets over in West Village, here’s a one-bedroom renovated apartment available for $825 per month. This first floor unit includes water and heat and pets are allowed. It’s right down the street from shops and restaurants in West Village.

↑ In Elmwood Park there’s a 9th floor, one-bedroom apartment available for $800 per month. This apartment has views of the river and the complex includes a fitness center. It’s located near the Riverfront, the Dequindre Cut, and it’s a few minutes away from downtown.
